Trip Details

The GESGB are pleased to invite you to register for a visit to the Drax Power Station.

???? Date & Time: 24 May 2024 – 13:00-15:00

???? Location: Drax Power Station, Drax, Selby YO8 8PH (free car parking available onsite)

The duration of the visit is 2 hours, and includes time in their visitor area with a presentation on the generation process at Drax and includes information on BECCS. There is also a minibus tour to the outside areas of the site such as the domes and cooling towers, and a walking tour through the boiler house and turbine hall. The BECCS area is not available for visitors to view, but the visit includes a short presentation and drive past the compound.

The field trip schedule will be shared with registered attendees closer to the time of the visit.

Catering
All participants are required to make their own catering arrangements.
