Next Generation Education Programme for Students

We are calling all students to join our community and benefit from our new GESGB Next Generation Education Programme!

OUR MISSION:

• Supporting the next generation of Energy Geoscientists through membership of our society
• Facilitating the mutual education across the membership from the most experienced members to the students who have the newest technology to work with
• Providing a professional and supportive network that brings the industries newest members to the attention of the companies and individuals that they are interested in and vice versa

Though the energy sector is one of the largest, it is very network/relationship based. Students who complete their studies and participate within the activities of the GESGB, finish their course with a ready-made network of supportive professionals. Starting their professional journey ahead of their peers.

Our student members receive all the same benefits as the professional members, these include:

• Mentoring programme
• Free online lectures
• Access to the database of all the professional members with their contact details
• Profile raising opportunities including, publishing articles, co-chairing events, discounted entry to high profile events, building events with the Young Professionals
• Participation in Special Interest Groups to meet professionals in the areas that you wish to explore for your career
• Industry and community information direct to your inbox
• Social events
